Here at Sparkles we are always looking at bringing something new to the business, and we think we have found the perfect addition.
Why not have your wedding dress converted into a beautiful Christening Gown that can be treasured for generations. Very few daughters wear their mothers wedding dress and, if like mine, yours is tucked up in a box and left in the attic, why not put it to some use and let us turn it into something that will be treasured.
When my eldest daughter was christened I looked for something special for her to wear but couldn’t find anything that just hit the nail on the head so I decided that I would maker her gowns from from material left over from my wedding dress, and everyone commented on how beautiful she looked. This gave me the idea of converting wedding dresses into Christening Gowns but, apart from a few that I made for friends, it is only now that I am able to put that idea into practice.
But what if you don’t have a wedding dress that is suitable for converting into a Gown? Or you would rather die than have your beautiful dress cut up? Well that’s not a problem! We can make a beautiful gown from new material. Don’t have any dress material shops close by? Why not let us source and select the material for you. We can design and make your gown to your specifications, whether you want it heavily embroidered with lots of glittering sequins; made from fine Italian lace or as light as a feather from a soft floaty fabric like georgette. Or we could crochet the top and leave the bottom plain and simple. You could have it short or as long as you wish. The choice is yours.
